About the System Instructions Frequent Questions Terms of Use Contact Us | ![]() Terms of Use Your use of this system indicates that you agree to comply with the Department of Music's policies regarding the use of practice room facilities in Schoenberg Music Building (SMB), including practice rooms, classrooms, studios, or any other area inside SMB, for voluntary individual or ensemble practice. Violations of practice room policies may result in the suspension or loss of practice room privileges. POLICIESMFSF Cards are issued on a quarterly basis. If a student changes major at any time, the Department of Music must be notified immediately, and you may be asked to surrender your MFSF Card and key immediately. MFSF Cards must be displayed at all times in all SMB spaces used for voluntary individual or ensemble practice. Holding of rooms for more than 10 minutes is strictly prohibited. Cards left in rooms unattended for longer than 10 minutes will be confiscated by the Community Service Officers (CSOs), and the room may be occupied by any other Pink or Yellow MFSF Practice Card holder on a first come/first serve basis. Room reservations are void ten minutes after the hour if the person who reserved the room is not present. MFSF Cards are non-transferable. Practice Rooms must be locked after usage. Room schedules for rooms on a reservation system must be observed. Practice rooms and instruments are not to be defaced or abused in any way. Report violations to the Department of Music Office (2539 SMB) or to the Student Services Office (1642 SMB). Eating and/or drinking in practice rooms are prohibited. Practice rooms are not to be used for storage, sleeping, etc. Keys and MFSF Cards must be surrendered upon demand, at any time. Practice Room Keys must be returned to the Student Services Office upon graduation or withdrawal from school. Lost key or MFSF Card must be reported immediately to the Student Services Office. There is a $25 replacement Fee for a lost key. There is a $20 replacement fee for a lost MFSF Card. Full cooperation with the CSOs is expected. |
